Scholarships and Awards

The Orinda-Moraga-Lafayette branch of AAUW offers a $750 scholarship to one graduating senior woman from each of the local high schools—Miramonte in Orinda, CA, Campolindo in Moraga, CA, and Acalanes in Lafayette, CA— and a junior or senior woman from St. Mary's College in Moraga-  who has demonstrated her commitment to our ideals.  Recipients will receive recognition at the branch awards meeting in April 2010.  They will be expected to attend the meeting and give a brief speech about their accomplishments and aspirations.  Scholarship checks are issued when proof of registration at the college is provided.

If you share our vision, have an excellent academic record (3.0 or better) and have been involved in service to your community we invite you to apply; or if you know a graduating high school senior who fulfills the scholarship criteria, please encourage her to apply.
